Seiklushunt: Vägilase Jooks 2024

This season, I only filmed the Kiviõli and Lähte stages.

The inspiration for the Kiviõli video was Mad Max: Fury Road. I used camerawork, editing, and music to create the high energy characteristic of that film. Since the shooting environment didn't resemble a post-apocalyptic world, the inspiration might not be immediately obvious to the viewer.

For the Lähte stage, I focused on tracking shots and used the point tracking technique in post-production.
During the race, I was caught in a heavy downpour. Condensation formed inside the lenses during lens changes, blurring the image. As a result, a significant amount of time was spent drying the lenses. After each lens change, I had only a few minutes to shoot before the image fogged up again. Fortunately, I managed to significantly improve the image quality during editing.
The video's introduction was inspired by the Marvel intro, where different characters are displayed inside the logo. I replaced those characters with footage I had captured over the years, dating back to 2017.
